These beach locations have golden sand, aqua-blue ocean with large rolling waves. There are many beautiful beaches between Haleiwa and Turtle Bay. Nice anytime of the day, but the North Shore is famous for its sunsets.  About 60-90 minutes from Waikiki. Permit required.
